In her first single with Northern Norwegian lyrics, Marie Vangen gives us a beautiful, tender and touching song, about losing someone close.
Sometimes you have to let everything go and just listen. Whenever we hear her sing or see her on stage, it is evident that Marie Vangen from Tromsø has a very special tenderness and presence in her music. With her first release in her own native dialect Northern Norwegian, it is almost impossible to be indifferent. The single «Det e her vi tar farvel» (This is where we say goodbye) is a touching and beautiful song that puts words to feelings that most of us can relate to, but at the same time hard to talk about. It is a honest testimony of the thoughts raving around in our minds when we lose someone close. According to Marie, the song is dedicated to those who might need it.
Together with the single, there will be a release of a music video, recorded in the mighty bay outside Tromsø. Furthermore the release will be followed up by a tour through Finnmark and Oslo.
