Release 2nd of March: Globus

Dratapp is a jazz-trio that plays jazz. Now they appear with their first full length album "Globus", with mainly own original compositions.

The jazz-trio «Dratapp», now based in Oslo, consists of three young and very interesting jazz-musicians that have all recently finished their studies at the music conservatory in Tromsø, Northern Norway.

Their music is mainly their own original compositions, within a melodic landscape influenced by e.g Pat Martino, Bill Evans, Steve Swallow, Cannonball Adderley, Jonathan Kreisberg and Gilad Hekselman. It is expressed in a very playful way, and with an acoustic and non-electrified sound. Obviously, Dratapp can also not deny themselves from making alternative versions of well-known jazz-standards.

Dratapp is:
Sigbjørn Innjord Thomassen - Guitar
Christo Stangness - Double bass
Tobias Solheim-Nilsen - Drums
